Join HBMO
Holiday Beach Migration Observatory (HBMO) is an open membership organization.
Members receive a newsletter ('The Northwind') and annual summaries of the
season's observations. Dues also support public education efforts, site
improvement and scientific studies. HBMO also conducts workshops, and members are available as speakers for meetings or
special events.
Everyone is welcome to join the migration study activities at the site. We especially seek interested and knowledgeable birders who can contribute to identification and tabulation of migrants. A training program is offered prior to each season to assist counters in development and update of their skills.
Two types of HBMO membership are available:
- Regular memberships receive the HBMO newsletter, The Northwind by mail three times per year.
- E-Membership members receive The Northwind in electronic format through the members-only area of the HBMO web site.
